~Another chick in line, to stand and represent the time.~

Another little chick I made. I have used a different material and design for the legs and beak of this one. It is all felted, except for legs and beak.

These chicks can also be ordered. Since they are hand crafted, they will differ from one another. That does give them character and uniqueness though, no?

This one might even become the 'war chick' because a friend suggested it and it is a temptation hard to resist. If it does, new pictures will be posted with its little belt etc. The additional accessories will be sewn.

And on chickens: One of the common most spread domestic animal. They are kept primarly for food, be it the production of eggs or meat. Some can even be kept as pets or in as a side product (especially common in the country) as an alarm clock ;). This is a trait the males are usually said to have. There has been several cartoons in which they starred as main characters and in atleast one a rooster represented a sort of Elvis Presley inspired singer.

The age old question about chickens? What came first. The chicken or the egg. There are different cultural connections to them as well, and celebrations where eggs are used, painted, sought after or even drilled into to make beautiful ornamented egg shells.

This one looks like it is a bit more clumsy and insecure (in a very adorable way) than your others.
But it certainly could grow into a fierce and awe-inspiring warrior, if needs be! I would love to see it change into that.
