~Spotted or sometimes with a few stripes, the Cheetahs of gods and of kings.~
This submission has been partly a personal challenge, but started when a note about the International Cheetah day and came in the notebox from the ICDC. So the art had been born as a form of participation in the International Cheetah Day Challenge.

The Cheetah is an animal that is well known for its speed, yet not durability (It will run fast, but not for long or it may face the danger of overheating). It is a cat whose claws are are said to be semi or by some name suggestions, even non-retractable and in ways reminds one more of the dog of the cat world.
Unlike other spotted cats the characteristic cheetah coat is dotted with dark spots that do not have a darker inner centre (rosette like for example). The most characteristic is probably also the black line that comes across the sides of the cheetahs face. In some way they could have similar uses to the dark lines the American Football players have under their eyes.
Cheetahs can purr, but they cannot roar. The baby cheetahs also make interesting call sounds which are rather high pitched and resemble 'bird squeaks'. Also an interesting attribute to the young cheetahs is the 'mane of fur' at the back of their necks down to the mid-back which makes them look like tiny rebels.
